    Great. “Facts you won’t believe!” by an author who doesn’t check his facts. The original word for butterfly was never, ever, in recorded history… “flutterby”.

    The etymology for “coward” is utterly false. In fact, it is the French word “couard” which has the same meaning. It cames from “coue” (now written “queue”) which means “tail” and the pejorative suffix “-ard”.
