The name of the cigars being hand rolled in these photos is Cohiba which belongs to the Tiano Indians who were first encountered by Columbus on his way to America. The cigars were originally registered in Cuba in 1969. The name of the brand originally meant the Government of Cuba. Cuban cigar rollers are known as torcedores and are touted as being the most skilled cigar rollers in the world.
