Alternatively, add a tablespoon of ginger slices to a cup of boiled water and steep for about five minutes. Add a little honey and drink it when it is still warm. Figs are considered as one of the effective home remedies for wheezing due to its nutrients. It can relieve breathing difficulties, release sputum and improve respiratory health. Wash three or four figs carefully and then soak them in a glass of water overnight. Eat these soaked figs and drink the water in which you soaked the figs in the morning when your stomach is empty.
